About
The Monkey Gland was born in 1920, at a time when people were fascinated by the progress of science and medicine. The history of the cocktail is often attributed to Frank Meier, a famous bartender at the Ritz Paris, an establishment that became, at the time, the nerve center of social evenings and sophisticated cocktails. However, another version claims that it was another bartender, Henry McElhone, who was at the origin of the creation of this drink.
