Robson cocktail: a very fruity short drink published by Harry Craddock in 1930.

Recipe

For 1 person
4 cl jamaican rum
2 cl squeezed lemon juice
1 cl grenadine syrup
1 cl squeezed orange juice

How to make

Technique: shaker / Glass: martini / Type: short drink (8cl) / Time: 4 mn
  1. Shake the rum, lemon juice, grenadine syrup and orange juice with a few ice cubes.

  2. Strain into a martini glass.

History

The Robson cocktail was first published in 1930 by Harry Craddock in his famous The Savoy Cocktail Book. The above recipe is the original, as published in 1930.

It is a delicious, very balanced cocktail, slightly sweet and refreshing at the same time, with a strong presence of rum which allows it to be tasted a minimum since it is not too drowned.
