3 cl rum (Puerto Rican)
1 cl maraschino
2 cl orange juice
1 cl falernum syrup

Technique: shaker / Glass: old-fashioned / Type: short drink (7cl) / Time: 3 mn
  1. Shake the rum, falernum syrup, maraschino and orange juice with a few ice cubes.

This is the original and unique Frosty Dawn cocktail recipe as it was published by Albert Carillo in 1954 in a newspaper, only the proportions of the ingredients have changed.

Monin and Giffard produce falernum syrup, do not replace it with another ingredient otherwise this cocktail would no longer be a Frosty Dawn.
