2 cl white curaçao
2 cl Bénédictine
2 cl Cognac
3 dashes Angostura Bitters

How to make

Technique: straight to the glass / Glass: digestive glass / Type: short drink (6cl) / Time: 2 mn
  1. Add White Curaçao, Bénédictine, Cognac and Angostura Bitters directly into the glass.

  2. Stir with a mixing spoon.

History

The Brandy Champerelle cocktail was first published in 1862 in "Bar-tenders Guide: How to mix drinks" by Jerry Thomas, who specifies that it is a French cocktail. This recipe is the final version published in 1887 in the 3rd edition of the same book.
